Encased in 4 suitcases and 4 hand luggage (one hundred pounds of clothes, shoes, books, ball, scooter Miguel and a few souvenirs) there are 40 days of life in Colombia with Miguel Brayan and to take Cordenons. Fortunately, that emotions do not go in your suitcase, because their weight would have cost us a lot of charge. Even these days in Bogota utime went very well, with several visits to museums and interactive sites for children such as DiverCity - a place where children spend a whole afternoon to experience the crafts of adults - or the pizzeria, where the children are ( almost) alone pizza (see photo).
Yesterday, Tuesday 30, all 8, we visited the historic city of Bogota, starting from the Sanctuary of Monserrate located on a hill overlooking the city. We saw the presidential palace, complete with photos of classic children in the midst of guards, beautiful churches and grand finale in a restaurant located in an elegant colonial house of Candelaria. Despite being the last day together in Colombia (Helen, Henry, Nelson and German will start Wednesday, Sept. 1), the children were very quiet - apart from some initial whim. Although this tranquility is largely due to their poor sense of direction space-time, we like to read it as a sign of confidence in their new future (Miguel and Brayan it consists in 'meet Yuri, our dog, grandparents, and buy the bike!). However, no specific request about how and when they meet with the brothers, just can not wait to go to Italy. With this note
quiet salute and thank all the friends who followed us in this journey, we will update you shortly on the back.
